For this assignment, we are to describe the accountability procedures we will use in our classroom. We are to include ideas for your grading system, how we will monitor and give students feedback. We will also include methods of assignment communication, including how we will handle assignments for students who are absent.
The accountability procedures I will use in my class will include, a grade book. In the grade book I will keep up with absences, unfinished work, and etc. I will use a letter system to distinguish which applies. I will have a folder for each student. It will go home everyday and will have a pocket for homework and keep-at-home work. This will also be a mean
of communication with the parents. I will as have a wiki page for the students and parents. Students can see posted homework and areas in which we are working on. I will also include any links, attachments and etc. to help students. Parents can check for what we are working on, homework, classroom news and pictures of the classroom. It will be a great tool for parents who work and do not get to be there all the time. I will also have a bin for students who were absent. There they can get the work they missed. I will also have a chart in the class for returned work. The students will recevie a star for returning their work, on time. Every week, they will earn some type of reward.
